Finally, I present to you the new found vintage pieces; ready for their creative touches.
I meant to have this post done on Thursday but for some reason I haven't been able to upload pictures on several of the websites I use. Trey found out that Java has disappeared from my computer, which we both think is impossible. I know I didn't uninstall it, he didn't either.
Oh well, the mysteries of this laptop never cease to amaze me. It works now so I'll take what I can get.
On Wednesday, I was given a bunch of vintage clothes to look through. Needless to say, I was ecstatic. I found so much and it completely boost my spirit since with the loss of my day job I was wondering where I would get the funds to buy for Sincerely Rae.
Here's the whole pile:
Some shots of a few of my favorites:
There's so many more that I loved but I didn't want to overwhelm with too many pictures. I cannot wait to modernized some of them and create acessories to go with the outfits.
I'm trying not to rush myself to get them all done, because when I open my Esty, I want it to look exactly the way I've imagined it. I want to have a good selection of dresses, separates and accessories.
I'm so very glad that I found this niche of people and businesses here online so that I can follow my dream of fashion design.
Also, yesterday the manager from Victoria's Secret called me and offered me a job! So in all reality, I was only unemployed for a week. I feel like a retail clothing job will be a great place for me to be. I know I'll gain the experience I need in customer service and get a feel for selling clothing and intimates. Even though Sincerely Rae will be sold over the internet, those skill will translate to a make a more sucessful online retail store.
Have a great Saturday night and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Rachael
