My weekend was so wonderful I almost wish we hadn't come home. The temperature was in the 70s. I spent a whole lot of time laying in the hammock and knitting. Actually I snapped my plastic knitting needle in the car on the drive up but my mother-in-law was nice enough to pick me a new pair up when she went into town. She also got my a pair of light-up needles. The packaging reads "knit anywhere, anytime, even in the dark!" which makes me wonder who knits in the dark, sneaky much?
Anyways on to the pictures:
Our Cabin:
The creek behind the cabin, Oak Creek:
It was probably a bad idea to wade in a creek with my camera, but no accidents.
Jasper was NOT enjoying the water:
Beautiful hammock, cat naps laying in you were so wonder:
View from the hammock:
Our trip down to Sedona, the view from our table at lunch:
Sadly I took more pictures with boar statues than I did with the famous red rock mountain but If you're really interested in seeing them just google Sedona, AZ. ;)
Beautiful scenery on the drive back:
There was a dog bakery in Sedona and we picked up some carob treats for Jasper and his best girl, Sadie:
I know, I'm a sucker.
Happy independence weekend friends! Take a tip from me, take a trip and relax somewhere beautiful.
