Weekend Wrap-up

Trey and I had another fairly eventful weekend. Dinner with friends, a sleepover with my little sister-in-law complete with a Hannah Montana world tour Wii game, Sunday after church lunch with the family and plenty of Pushing Daises with my feet propped up. My feet have decided to swell to elephant proportions, so I need to keep them up as often as possible.

At the beginning of last month I entered a Collection Swap over at Oh, Hello Friend where we made of list of the odds and ends we collect. We were matched up with a partner and were to search for items in their collection and swap. I got matched up with the lovely Crystal.  I want to share with you what she sent me in the mail on Friday. This was the first time I participated in a swap and I have to say, I was/am really excited about it!

This is the list of things I told her I collect:

Pyrex: I have a fair amount of pieces but my favorites are the brighter colors and prints.
Vintage thread spools: the wooden kind, with thread or not
Disney snow globes: My husband and I started collecting them after he proposed at Disneyland
Owl figurines/jewelry
Vintage floral fabrics: Even sheets or random bits
Vintage dress patterns: From the 50’s and 60’s
Teapots: (any but I’d imagine they’re a little difficult to ship)

Old cameras or film: Pre-80’s
And here's what I got in the mail:
 Pretty Packaging
Pretty pieces of fabric, vintage thread and spools,
and the most awesome stamp! A little retro camera! I just got more stamping ink pads and fun stamps from my mom and now I have one more to use with my packaging, scrapbooking, and card making.
Thank You Crystal!!!
I took pictures of my package to her and everything I sent but I don't want to post about it until she receives them, that would ruin the surprise.

Happy Monday Everybody!

By the way, check out One Pearl Button and Wild Olive for my new April Sponsor Spots!
