Vinyl Lovin'

Hi Everyone!

This morning I woke up and told myself that I have to get my house cleaned before I blog and work on the Etsy shop. Mission accomplished. House is fresh and clean for dinner tonight with our friends. =]
Does anyone else wonder at how in one week a single cat and a single dog can shed enough hair to make another animal? At least I keep them out of my work area so it doesn't get on my SR clothing.

When I was at the art fair Friday night I came across a man selling vinyl records. They were printed with his photography, not painted but he had gotten the photos printed into decals and pressed them onto the records. The thing that made them most interesting was that it wasn't simply photos. He had taken bits of the photos and edited them into a sort of kaleidoscope. One was a photo of a cathedral ceiling. Exquisitely beautiful.


It got me wondering what else people were creating with records that would otherwise be sent to the landfill. I've seen a few different creations in the past but here are my favorites from a search today:
