Green Floral Shirtdress Styling

I had a lot of fun putting the outfit together on Polyvore for the Jess LC challenge. I didn't win but I really like searching through unlimited options and pulling together an outfit I would wear. Today, I decided to create an outfit around one of the vintage dresses in my Etsy shop. The American Shirtdress with the Green floral print.

I decided to keep all the other accessories fairly modern. I find it's a lot easier to wear vintage that way, sometimes when you go all out  with one time period it can look like a costume.

It can be so time consuming putting an outfit together out of pieces you don't own. You have the whole internet at your fingertips so you can take an outfit in a million different directions. I tried to keep it to items I would actually buy and wear. There are tons of styles that I love in theory, but would just never pull off! haha I really love the Jo Totes camera bag, I've been wanting a cute bag that will protect my camera from being knocked around. I have a little camera backpack that fits all my lenses and camera body but it is definitely not cute.
